Audio over the internet is old hat. Now comes streaming video. It has a long way to go before you'll mistake it for a satellite feed, but a steady stream of products makes it better and cheaper than ever. Here are some of the products shown at the recent Digital Living Room conference.

The Be Here iVideo 360-degree video system does for live video what panoramic cameras do for still photography. It captures everything around the camera, all at once: a 360-degree circle, 90 degrees high (45 degrees above and below the horizon). The media editor sees a 360-degree strip on the PC. The user sees only a part of the frame but can pan in a full circle. The Be Here lens shoots upward into a reflector that bounces the image from a silvery funnel encased in a clear glass dome (www.behere.com).
