Google Video (beta)

One of the biggest tidbits of tech news to come out of CES this year was the beta launch of the Google Video Store, a video distribution service that offers paid content alongside free videos, and lets users upload their own video clips and charge for them. The new service subtly moves Google in a new direction, from merely searching online content to collecting the content itself. In other words, Google Video doesn't search the Web for video clips for you to download; Google's actually amassing its own catalog of video clips.
